Julia's First B-day

I made this cake for a friend's little girl, she was turning one.  I made it in record time, like a day and half.  It was a last minute request and it was my attempt at blocks, they look ok - not great. 

Bella's 3rd b-day

This cake was for my daughters best friend Bella.  She was turning 3 and wanted a butterfly cake.  I think it turned out pretty good. 

Amy's birthday cake

My brother-in-law called me up and asked that I make a birthday cake for his wife's surprise birthday party.  I was ecstatic!  She really loves sewing so I decided to make her a quilt cake, with needle, thread and fabric blocks.  I think it turned out pretty cute.    

Madi's 3rd Birthday cake

 My little girl's 3rd birthday cake.  We had a pool party, so it only seemed fitting to have a pool birthday cake.  This is one of my favorite cakes that I have made.  Madi just loved it.  She is such a sweet girl. 

Nana's Graduation Cake

 This is the second cake I ever made.   It was for my mother in-law's graduation party.  She was graduating with her Master's in Social Work.  We were all so proud of her. 

My very first cake!

I made this cake for my nephew's 7th birthday.  It was the first cake I had ever made for anyone.  I was really nervous to say the least but he LOVED it.  It was definitely worth all my worry.

Little Mermaid Cake

This is what I have been working on.  It was a birthday cake for my friend's little girl's first birthday!  It was a huge success and everyone loved it.  Thank goodness. It was a lot of fun to get back into cake making, since I haven't made one for about 8 months or so.  Crazy how fast time goes by.
