For my daughter's 1st birthday we had a ladybug party. I made this banner with my cricut machine. It was layered with two pieces of card stock and then the letters. For the letters I used white vinyl, its so much easier than paper and glue. And I made this ladybug cake.

Pumpkin and gourd craft
Last year my daughter and I made ghosts, bats, spiders, and jack-o-laterns out of fake pumpkins and gourds. First we painted them with craft paint, then we added glitter, wiggle eyes, foam cut into different shapes, pom-poms, and craft pipe. My daughter was able to do most of the work
which made it really fun for her.
My halloween card
This is the card that I am going to send to family for Halloween. :)
Relief Society Cake
I was asked by my Relief Society President to make a cake for our Stake General Relief Society Broadcast Dinner. This is what I decided to do.

Chore Board
I made this chore board for my five year old over the summer. The base is a sheet of metal that I brought the Lowes. My dad rounded the corners and I added the rest. I think it turned out great and the best part is, we are using it and it works great. She loves it and so do I!!

back to school for my YW
I made these cute little packs of gum for the Young Women in my ward, for their first day of school.
Back to school
I can't believe that my little girl is starting kindergarten!! I made a few things to help make her big day a little extra fun and exciting. I made this cute backpack and filled it with candy and a key chain with her name on it. I also made candy pencils. They are made with Rolos stacked on each other and a Hershey kiss at the end. Next I covered a mini notebook with apple paper. And lastly, a cute sign.

Tangled cake
I made this cake to go with the theme of my daughter's 5th birthday party. She loves the movie "Tangled", so that was the theme of the party. I decided to make the tower from the movie. She absolutely loved it!! I got the idea for this cake from here. She is truly amazing.
Tangled Birthday Party
To celebrate my daughter's 5th birthday I put together a "Tangled Birthday Party". She just loves this movie, so how could I resist. This picture here shows all of the decoration and goodies for the party. For decorations I made the flags from the movie, the purple triangles with the sun in the middle. For the table we had a purple table cloth, of course. I also made pascal party blowers. The gift bags were a lot fun. On the outside of the bag, was a wanted poster with their name on it, and inside we had paints for Rapunzel's paints, a yellow duck from the "Snuggly Duckling" pub. And one of my duaghters favorite things, bubbles. Who doesn't love bubbles, right. Next the cake. I just love to make cakes, and I knew right off that I wanted to make Rapunzel's tower. The only thing I wish was that I had had more time to work on it. I would have loved to have given it a little more detail. But my daughter was absolutely thrilled with it just the way it was. I also made some cake bites in the shape of apples, because Maximus loved apples, and I made crown shaped rice crispy treats. As for games, we played "pin the nose on Flin". We blindfolded the kids and then spun them around a few times. It was really cute. We also had a pinata, and the kids had a lot of fun with that, too. I can't take credit for all of these great ideas, because most of them I found online. I got ideas for the party from here, here and here

Birthday Girl t-shirt
I made this shirt for my daughter's 5th birthday party. I just love how it turned out. I can't wait to see her in it, on her special day. I borrowed my mother-in-law's embroidery machine and did the words "Birthday Girl and 5" then I used my cricut machine to cut out the cupcake. I then hand stitched around the cupcake and the sprinkles.
Cowboy cake
A friend of mine asked me to make a simple cowboy theme cake. So this is what I came up with. A cow print to cover the cake and then some rope to go around it. Easy but cute.
Fabric eggs
I love these fabric eggs. I had a cute little Easter basket and nothing to fill it with. So I took some plastic eggs and covered them with cute fabric. I just used modge podge to put the fabric onto the egg. Loved them.
Easter shirts
I know that I am incredible late in posting this but I thought I would anyway. I made these cute matching t-shirts for my daughters for Easter. I used a design I already had and just made a few changes. I cut out the fabric, and then hand stitched around everything. I thought they were adorable.

Cake for my YW Group
I made this cake for a Young Women Night and also to practice for my brother in-law's upcoming wedding. The girls love it, and it was so yummy!! White cake with a raspberry filling.
Baby Shower Cake
This cake was for a friend's baby shower. It was her first baby, a girl! Sorry that the color in the second pictures is so bad. :(
First Tiered Cake
This was my first attempt at a tiered cake. I made it for 4 kiddos, who were all turning one and having a combined b-day party. So there was lots of pressure! It was fun, and stressful. I learned a lot, and I am so happy to be making cakes. Thanks to all those who keep requesting them.
